I am at ease in the arms of a woman
although now most of my days are spent alone
a thousand miles from the place I was born
But when she wakes me she takes me back home
Now most days I spend like a child
who's afraid of ghosts in the night
I know there ain't nothing out there
I'm still afraid to turn on the light
I am at ease in the arms of a woman
although now most of my days are spent alone
a thousand miles from the place I was born
but when she wakes me she takes me back home
A thousand miles from the place I was born
But when she wakes me she takes me back home
I am at ease in the arms of a woman
although now most of my days are spent alone
a thousand miles from the place I was born
when she wakes me she takes me
Yeah, when she wakes me she takes me
Yeah, when she wakes me she takes me back home
When she wakes me she takes me back home

A very poignant poem-melancholy-I like it
ReplyDeleteHey, Master Pei, what's with the 7-month hiatus?
ReplyDeleteHarem keeping you all to themselves, not fair!
waiting for my heart to heal...
ReplyDeleteor, trying to understand why it won't
or, waiting for something to touch my soul, to move me, to re-affirm my faith
to make me feel that a tear is a beautiful thing
waiting for my knees to buckle
looking for that smile that melts my heart
trying to understand why I can't find it
you know
the usual BS
:-)
something tells me part of your heart's healed already, the part that's open to the knee-buckling, you know. and while you sleep, that healed part of your heart is already out there scouting around the billions of other souls and drawing that most special one towards you, really really. The Universe likes to surprise us with stuff like that!
